We Are Americans Committed to Conservation

It’s not just about birds! We encourage all who have an interest in nature and the quality of our environment to become members of the National Audubon Society and of our local chapter, the Fond du Lac County Audubon Society. Your support of the national organization helps to promote action and programs on the national level and pays for your subscription to Audubon magazine, published bimonthly.

Membership in our county chapter helps support local educational programs and habitat restoration in our own area. You’ll receive the local chapter newsletter, The Heron (published bimonthly) and all chapter benefits. Details of meetings, field trips, work projects, and special events are included, as well as information on local, state and national environmental issues. All members are asked to join or renew through the local chapter. If the member is also joining the national organization, part of the dues will be sent to the National Audubon Society.

The Fond du Lac County Audubon newsletter is printed and mailed out five times a year. To help save paper, printing, and postage, please consider receiving the newsletter as a PDF via email. Send your email address to: webmaster@fdlaudubon.org. You can also find the newsletter posted on our website. Please indicate if you would also like to receive a reminder before each meeting or only receive the newsletters. People who are paying only the local fee for Audubon, need to note the changes in the fees.
